Ms. Macaulay is an Information Security and Privacy Advisor and Leader with over 15 years of experience supporting Government and Private-sector clients across multiple industries including Energy, Financial, Healthcare and Hi-Technology.
Ms. Macaulay has been responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise-wide information risk management program; providing strategic planning and technical guidance, identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information security and privacy risks; ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information; working with business units and departments to implement leading information security practices; and collaborating with board and governance committees to determine acceptable levels of information security risk.
Ms. Macaulay leverages leading governance frameworks, legal requirements, and security standards (e.g. COBIT, ISO27001/27002, BS 25999, HIPAA, SoX, GLBA, PCI, Privacy Legislation, etc.) and more than 12 years advising clients to maximize results through improved use of people, process, and technology. She is an experienced team leader who has managed direct reports and teams with diverse skill sets.
Ms. Macaulay has experience providing Awareness training at events/conferences in the United States, South Africa and Zambia.
She completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Security Informatics from Johns Hopkins University.
